I just got my S22 Ultra and noticed these lines in the kmsg log

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] [Firmware Bug]: Kernel image misaligned at boot, please fix your bootloader!

but more worrying is this log entry

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] **********************************************************

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** trace_printk() being used. Allocating extra memory. **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** This means that this is a DEBUG kernel and it is **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** unsafe for production use. **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** If you see this message and you are not debugging **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** the kernel, report this immediately to your vendor! **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] ** NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE NOTICE **

<4>[ 0.000000][ T0] **********************************************************

Here is the screenshot showing the kmsg log,  an internet search suggests it's high tech hacking, another says the phone was put into debug mode and the bootloader replaced by use of a USB device connected directly, however this was direct from sealed box from Samsung shop.

I've since installed July updates and factory reset but this never changes every boot it shows this warning#

Samsung, have you be hacked at the factory? can you explain why my phone is unsafe for production use?

hacked from the factory?hacked from the factory?

Hi all,

I asked about this one at our end. The developers (and security team) have confirmed that the same lines appear in the official user binary kmsg log, so it's all as it should be, and the devices definitely haven't been hacked.

@AntS Thanks for confirming that there is nothing untoward in @geoffster 's  binary kmsg log .

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Samsung S21 same problem...  Highly disappointed.  Information of mine was leaked and its leading to hours and hours of DMCA takedown requests.  My life may very well be ruined.

Hey,

I put this myself to Samsung security and they told me it was a bug only it was not in debug mode despite the logs.

that's not to say someone didn't hack you but it's not likely to be this log.

if your data is public then you might want to question your best friends, partners or anybody that doesn't think your crazy.

making your data public is more something a jealous moron does to cause you trouble. most likely had direct access to your phone or you clicked a link in something.

check out Amnesty international MVT to scan your phone for spyware malware etc
