Hi Emma have you tried logging into your Samsung account online to restore data from the cloud.

Don't think you can if screen dead, only thing I can think is try a phone store that may have a tools to do it, I know Vodafone used to have one but they only help their own customers

Did you not have it set up to backup to your Google account or Samsung account daily?

@EmmaRose91 Do you not have any recent Back ups you can restore via Samsung/Google and other cloud services? For photos/music it is best to have  a few back ups on cloud services  and also I would argue on local storage.   You could try connecting old phone via USB to see if any files can be accessed though no guarantee of success. otherwise you would need to visit a Samsung experience store/other shop for assistance.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

My old phone won't allow USB transfer unless I allow it and can't. I backed up on smart things but I don't know if it backed up my files

Look at I-smashed-my-screen-and-cannot-use-the-touchscreen-is-there-any-way-to-access-my-data.

@EmmaRose91

Alternatively a Highstreet Store that advertises they repair phone's maybe able to access the phone or even pop a screen on so you can access the phone. I wouldn't normally advise this as that would invalidate the warranty however this isn't a consideration in your case.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎
