hello everyone, this might be silly but is anyone else s22plus brightness keeps getting going on its self, i have it turned off on my settings but every so often its goes really bright

Please can you try this as a troubleshooting step  > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

yep the same has been doing it the couple of weeks, i dont no what going on with it

Unfortunately seems like a hardware fault

This doesn't help. The issue persists even when the phone is off and displaying the green charging logo.

@katrina87: Have you noticed if the screen gets brighter under certain conditions, or after performing a particular action e.g. opening an app?

if im scrolling on facebook it does it alot, even if im using WhatsApp it does, couple other apps on my phone aswell it will happen
