I have this problem too

My phone connects to my car 2010 infiniti G37 for calls only but not audio. I have tried everything from reseting all network settings and settings in general. I don't have a Samsung watch connected and the phone won't allow me to mess with the Bluetooth codes in developer options. My s10 plus had zero issues connecting and playing audio but my brand new s22 ultra won't play audio. Samsung tech was no help, any ideas?

Also the phone connects to my friend's tesla model y calls and audio no problem. My  $1200 phone should be able to perform basic Bluetooth functions and connect to any car

Hi, I suspect this is down to a difference in Bluetooth versions. The same thing happened to me when my S6 had an OS update and from that day the M3 could not connect to my phone. The BT module in your car needs flashing or upgrading.

I also can't play any audio on my car with my s22 ultra. I can answer calls fine on the sterio but can't play any audio. It shows its playing but no sound is coming out. Any one found a fix yet?

I have the exact same issue in my 2022 Audi Q8 and 2021 GMC Silverado  so if a brand new car and truck both do it then it has to be the phone. They need to fix this and fast.

Same issue. Works for phone calls, not for YT Music. Oddly, the bluetooth icon is lit indicating connection, but the Stereo says "DISCONNECTED" at the same time. No watch or fitbit, no other BT device connected to phone or Stereo.

I am having the same issue with my s20 ultra, other phones connect automatically to my car so i tried changing everything, resetting etc but what seems to be the only thing that works is as the car is searching for the phone to connect when you start the electrics, in phone Bluetooth, select the settings icon next to the car name and toggle on calls and audio then press connect if needed, this should work, when connected, media on my car stereo shows what is currently next in the queue on my phone to play, and hurrah, when you press play, it does, I have changed my pbap and avrcp settings alot so not sure what they're supposed to be but the current is avrcp 1.5 which is the default and pbap is as below, I would just leave your default settings as they are and try because it has worked pretty much every time, my car is a 2014 reg btw!
(P.s if anyone knows what the default, or better settings are, pls let me know 😳).Screenshot_20220812-142748_Settings_21934_1660311066.jpg

I found a workaround for my car's stereo. If I change the mode on the stereo to "Bluetooth-Spotify", using YouTube Music works.  None of the other modes work.
