Hello,
I was using Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and I still have an issue with bad audio quality on my new S22 Ultra. All games have this issue. Not only games sound awful but also the video being edited when being played whole in the video editor.
Whole S21 family also suffers from this issues. Nobody has fixed it since S21 launch!
Here's the original poster of the issue with his S21 Ultra:https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s21-series/s21u-game-sound-quality/m-p/4839255#M39626
Here's mine from the A52 5G forum: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-a-series/shallow-bad-game-audio-quality/m-p/4664228#M2173...
My S10+ didn't have this issue but now since OneUi 4 it also has that issue, so it's about Samsung definitely..

I've posted it here since S22 line is the latest and it still has the issue on OneUi 4.1.

I wish I could @Adi0
The sound quality on my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra while viewing YouTube is good.
However I don't have games on my phone and refrain from downloading them so I can not test on my phone. I have Solitaire 🙄
Hopefully another member will reply and or perform a search to see if there is an existing thread on this subject on game's etc.
I wish all the best.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi @Adi0 ,
No change on this one from previously, so putting what I said in my PM to you before about the developers’ explanation:
‘Some games and apps have their audio output configured by their developers to be low latency, in order to reduce processing time/buffering.
Low latency audio output isn’t available in the Screen Recorder feature, so it processes the audio data fed into it to be generated as “normal media playback”. Which is why we all get the fuller sound on that.
In other words, it’s not an error at the device side of things, but an app developer thing as to whether their app for a particular OS/device/situation can generate audio output other than low latency.’
Short version is that this isn’t a central software architecture issue, and the developers of that understandably aren’t looking to take any action that would intentionally interfere with how the individual app developers intend their own apps to work.
There’s nothing the Community Team can do about this one other than what I’ve advised: it’s up to users to feed back to the individual app developers regarding the audio management/output of their apps. I reckon that the more users who do that the more likely there’ll be a positive result for that app though. 👍

That's so sad. Every game has the same sound issue... And other phone manufacturers don't.

Now even the Screen recorder doesn't make it sound good after OneUi 4...

I shall go to every game developer and send them this?

This users says that they have issue with other all but games and Samsung video editor! So it's not just those 2! Others phones work fine but Samsung users should ask all developers to adapt to Samsung? lol
