Auto restart scheduling

It seems with the one ui 5 update Samsung have removed the ability to schedule the times you want it to restart, and it will now decide this by itself when the phone "is not in use"

Does anyone know more about how this works? Or if there is any way to restore the previous method; at least then we could schedule the restarts for some time in the night when it definitely will not be used - now it seems as if it can happen even if it's just sitting in your pocket? Or am I missing something here

As above, would like to have the ability to properly schedule like we had before.

I set up my S23 Ultra to restart every saturday at 5 AM and it does not work.

I went to settings > Device care > Auto optimisation > Auto restart > Restart on schedule > enabled, I chose : every saturday and 5:30.

I set this up one month ago, but when I go back to "Auto optimisation", the last auto restart section reads "never".

So what am I doing wrong? Why isn't my phone restarting every saturday?
