August security update received S22 Ultra

I just got August security update on my S22 Ultra here in the UK. Surprisingly early as it is the 28th July today.

This is mine, purchased from EE UK but it's unlocked and told the updates come from Samsung and not the network operator. Thanks for the response!

What's the difference between my firmware and the ones that have already gotten the update? Is mine carrier specific, did you get yours from ssung direct? Thanks

I have not really noticed any difference apart from the new security patch. I am with Vodafone and it seems that some updates come through really quickly, but had to wait quite a while for the larger June one. From what I have understood updates should come from Samsung in batches by serial number etc. But as said there are massive differences when updates come through.

I believe, according to the firmware checker on Sammobile.com that EE versions still use a slightly different software to sim free versions which is why you and I haven't started to see the updates yet. Having said that, I got the July update on 4th July so hopefully we don't have long to wait.

Some on reddit are saying shutter lag is greatly reduced with this update, can anyone confirm?
