One UI 7 - Battery Icon

Hello all, to get the latest security update I have had to upgrade (I use the term loosely) to Android 15 / One UI7. Quite a few issues.

One issue that nags is the battery icon. Has anyone found a way to reinstate the old style ?

Nope, you struck with that style. If you use Goodlock you can customise your device better to your liking 👍 👌 😉 🙂

Hey, thanks for the reply. I do use Goodlock, but alas cannot find a way to alter the icon, or indeed the vertical scroll of the app draw.

Indeed the battery icon cannot change
App draw. If you tap on the 3 dots in the search bar
Then tap sort and select custom to change it back to swipe left and right

Thanks I have tried that and it does make it scroll horizontally but without alphabetical order.

Also another thing that some don't like is the swipe down from the left to get notifications and swipe down from the right to get short cuts
If you swipe down from the right for the shortcuts
Tap on the pen symbol at the top
Select panel settings
Then you can select together to have it the older way or separate as the new way

You can't change everything
But with Goodlock and it's various plugins you can change some stuff.
Plenty of themes and icon packs etc on the Galaxy store or Playstore

I was ok with it until I kept reading everyone else complain about it 🙏😂

It came up during beta and I reported it back then but Samsung have chosen to stick with it sadly.

They have made it bigger though.
