Hello, I'm using the my files app to use documents and photos for work from my internal storage to my one drive, I've never had an issue with this but over the past week nothing will move or copy. I have 83GB storage left on one drive so it's not that there no space.

Anyone have any ideas on how to sort this?

Thanks, James

Haven't tried a second account, otherwise I have the exact same issue on A52s 5G with Android 14:
- My Files cannot upload, but can read and delete.
- No problems with native OneDrive app.

Yeah it's been long enough and time for other Samsung or Microsoft to address this issue. If not I am not paying for the extra storage much longer and will move everything to Google drive.

I have recently started having this issue on both S20+ phone and Ulta Tablet. Can move from One Drive to My Files no prob, but not the other way. Was not a problem until about a week ago. Nothing has been updated as far as I know, so what's happening? Have done all the usual 'help' suggestions but no difference. Any new ideas?

In a way I'm glad to see others have been having this issue as well, I thought I was either going crazy or my old Android/app version was at fault (why on earth does a simple filemanager requires so much newer Android now?)... apparently, neither is the case.

At the same time, it is unfortunate, I've only been getting this same error message for a few weeks, but it seems the issue goes months back... which begs the question why it hasn't been resolved yet. Like others, I've tried all the cache/data clearing, reinstalling, relogging, etc. Nothing solves the issue. Manipulating files on OneDrive, even deleting them, seems to work. Trying to copy or move anything from phone to OneDrive - the folder actually gets created, but when it comes to the files... only the generic "couldn't move files" error message remains. It's extremely annoying and makes the app completely useless for me.

Yeah it seems to be a OneDrive issue. If you create a new OneDrive account my files app works perfectly for a few days but then starts doing the exact same thing. Whether it is Samsung's or Microsoft's issue I can't be sure but it's prevented me from actually paying for onedrive storage and will probably prevent me from purchasing Samsung phone when I upgrade soon

I have finally found the solution. I noticed the version on my tablet was newer than the one on my phone yet no updates were available. The tablet was able to copy and move to OneDrive it must have updated in the background and I didn't know it. The solution is go to APK mirror and download Samsung My Files 15.0.06.3.

I just downloaded it a few minutes ago and issue appears to be resolved
