1. **Check Internet Connection**: Ensure that your phone has a stable internet connection, as this is necessary for uploading files to OneDrive.
2. **Restart Your Phone**: Sometimes, restarting your device can resolve temporary glitches affecting app functionality.
3. **Update My Files App**: Make sure the My Files app is updated to the latest version from the Google Play Store. Updates often include bug fixes that could address file transfer issues.
4. **Clear App Cache**:
- Go to **Settings** > **Apps** > **My Files**.
- Tap on **Storage & cache**.
- Tap **Clear cache**.
5. **Check OneDrive Storage**: Although you mentioned having 83GB of storage left on OneDrive, ensure there are no restrictions or limitations on the types of files or sizes that can be uploaded.
6. **Verify File Size and Format**: Check the file size and format of the documents or folders you're trying to upload. Ensure they comply with OneDrive's file size and format limitations.
7. **Permissions and Settings**:
- Open the OneDrive app and check its settings for any specific upload or sync settings that might affect file transfers.
- Ensure that My Files app has the necessary permissions to access and upload files to OneDrive. Go to **Settings** > **Apps** > **My Files** > **Permissions**.
8. **Try Another File Manager**: Consider using a different file manager app to attempt the file transfer. This can help determine if the issue is specific to My Files app.
9. **Contact OneDrive Support**: If the issue persists, reach out to OneDrive support for assistance. They may have specific troubleshooting steps or be able to check if there are any issues on their end.
By following these steps, you should be able to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue with transferring files from your Samsung phone's internal storage to OneDrive using the My Files app.

Same issue here when using the "My Files" app on both my S22 and A Samsung tablet. Issue has only come up recently. I have never installed the OneDrive app however after doing so I can upload using OneDrive without issue. The problem appears to be with the "my files" app

I can confirm that the problem is with OneDrive and not the Samsung My Files app. I have two OneDrive accounts and the second account works fine with the Samsung My Files app. The fix for me was just to migrate everything from one account to the other but something must have recently changed on the account with the issue. I've wiped all files off that drive and deleted the recycle bin but still cannot use Samsung my files to upload anything to it. I can download from it using my files I can delete things on it using my files it seems to only affect upload.

I'm open to any suggestions because the chance of Microsoft getting this resolved swiftly is virtually non-existent
