Anyone else have no signal after update?

I updated my phone the day before and now no signal, says either emergency calls only/not registered to network. I've tried everything except a factory reset which I don't want to do as I don't want to lose anything. I know I can back up but will everything including albums go back to how they were once restored? 

My phones just over a year old, well annoyed, I used to be with iPhone and this makes me wish I never made the switch.

Yes! It's a nightmare for me now after the update. I use the phone for both work and personal. Now it's all in a mess because I reformatted it out of urgency for work and loss all personal data. HATED every second of it. I've reformatted 3 times, hopeless. Not forgetting my mum phone blackout after the update and it cosy usd350 to get it repaired by Samsung service centre. 

 

Both our S22 Ultra is less than 18 months old.. poor baby

No Network/losing signal. I spent 3 hours with the manager at ATT yesterday. They are convinced my phone is the issue. They switched me to a digital SIM. My phone is out of warranty by a few months and I still owe $500 for it. I see that tons of people have this problem. I hope Samaung can help me replace it. My phone is useless for calls or texts.

Hi, I Have an S22, which was working fine till the 5.1 update in about October 23 I think.  Then overnight it lost signal strength - from where it had previously had 5G 4 bars inside the house.. Now it has no signal and I'm having to stand outside at the front gate with 4G -1 bar to write this.
I've tried the fixes detailed in these responses. It wont clear the cache but comes up with a small dialogue box "Popup error".
I've reset it 3 times no change.
I did get an update last night- the November update, and was hoping , but alas nothings changed. 
I've been to Telstra, the service provider- got a new Simm. No change. It cant be Telstra because my partners on an I phone and that's running ok.
I wish we could go back to the IOS before 5.1- how I regret allowing that upgrade.
My phone is my internet for the house, using a mobile Hotspot.
I'm off to buy a new phone now- an I phone.
Shame because the camera on the S22 is brilliant.

I wish Samsung had a shopfront where I could take my phone, plug it into a diagnostic computer, like my car does, and it would tell you whats wrong.
The worst part is I feel foolish to change from my I phone.

Samsung a72 same working fine after update no service. Done all the tricks tips and factory rest. Nothing.

I have exactly the same problem with my Note 20. Initially I thought it was something with our own Telco, but after some diagnosing (nothing turned out wrong), I remembered it updated itself the night before, and so after that update the phone lost both its signal (Dual Sim).

Same thing for me on Samsung s22 ultra. Previously samsung messed up my S21+ with a faulty update, never acknowledged the issue and left my phone broken for more than 3 months.

Now this issue, never going to buy another samsung again :@

Also from my last experience half the people on the forums and service center wont know *****, they'll keep on calling it as a network provider issue instead of escalating it to the right people.

Tried all this with no joy, except trying sim in another phone, but i have no network access now - WiFi or mobile unless i restart phone when i get network access for a few minutes, seems strange others have same problems. Phone useless in this state

I currently can only use my phone on wifi only. It started in July and now my S22 Ultra has not sigal the majority of the time. I thought it was the phones antenna but i see now that im not the only one.

Did you ever get this repaired?  I am having the same symptoms after the recent 1/13/2024 update.  Can only use phone when on wifi.  No network access.  Emergency calls only.
