New phone but warranty expired!!

Just bought a Galaxy S21 5G Plus model I registered it and it said warranty expired in May of this year! How can this be!?

Depends on where you purchased it from
It's no longer a current device although should still get software updates for now.
Could be it was registered when the retailer purchased the device.
Could be a number of issues
Try contacting Samsung Customer Support and see if they can shed any light.
Maybe able to sort out something with the warranty or something with Samsung Care

@John1904  seems it is 2nd hand, samsung  discontinued selling the S21 series direct last year so will be available from other places.  Best to ensure you using a reliable source. As mentioned best to contact Samsung support in the first instance.

Cos it's been out for a quite a long time now and you only get a couple of years warranty

The S21 Series don't manufacture if my memory serves me right but hey I would be knocking on the door of the seller for a discount as it sounds like a second hand deal
