Samsung S20FE microphone issues

My microphone doesn't work on certain apps and recordings.

Please can anyone advise me on this issue?

Do you mean when you press the text to talk button

Step 1: Open Settings on your Android phone. Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Privacy. Step 3: Tap the toggle next to Microphone Access to enable it. Close Settings and check if the problem is solved.

Nope...when I try using the recording settings on apps and the voice recorder on the phone itself

Troubleshooter, it is the microphone at the bottom of the phone that has issues

 I have the same issue - I've tried everything - speech to text icon doesn't even appear in most of my apps anymore - very frustrating - now I get a microphone that records an audio message instead of converting to text.   Ugh.  😤
