Assuming you've looked in your phone's settings for software updates have you also tried using Samsung to update your phone ?
Also may I ask was your phone supplied directly from Samsung or from a Network ?
One tip is to insert another networks sim card if the phone is unlocked to all Network's as this can sometimes kick a software update into action.
