Keyboard issues after S20 OS August 2021 Update

Hi, my first post here.

So I installed the latest OS update today morning on my S20 FE 5G and after that I have experienced strange touch screen or keyboard issues. When ever I try to write something with my keyboard it just lags or I have severe misspellings. The keyboard frequently doesn't recognize when I press the letter or it writes the same letter two or three times. It's very frustrating!

I have read on another forum users suffering the same issues. Anybody here have same problems?

I have rebooted the phone and changed the keyboard without success. I tested a Touchscreen testing app and it shows the actual touchscreen works very well with no issues. I didn't have any problems before installing the latest update. Any ideas what to do next?

OMG! FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME! This problem IS NOT related to any software or application or keyboard you install on your phone!!!! THIS IS A HARDWARE PROBLEM THAT ONLY SAMSUNG CAN FIX! There are no ifs, ands or buts about it! This model line of phones has a busted touch screen digitizer that crashes or reboots or locks up very often. No application that user can install will fix this. Please STOP POSTING SNAKE OIL RECIPES!

For some people upgrade to Android12/OUI4 fixed it, for some it seems like it didn't fix yet. Hopefully, Samsung will continue to work on this. But THERE ARE NO FIXES THAT USERS OF THIS PHONE CAN APPLY ON THEIR OWN. ONLY SAMSUNG CAN FIX THIS!

I have same issue, after write the old ROM, problem persist and I find the external front glass protect was issue.

I am having serious issues with this touch screen problems. Since the last software update last week the keyboard kind of freezes/disappear and I can't even close all the apps as the central part of the screen doesn't respond to the touch. 

I am at the stage where I am thinking of returning the phone - the typing/touch issues are just unacceptable. Can you pls advise if Samsung are planning to fix them?

Before returning the phone try to factory reset it and see if that fixes things.

Replacing won't help I did that already. Phones junk. It's a hardware issue. They did get close to fixing it with updates but after I can't remember what update it went back to being not working again. I stumbled writing this as the touch screen sucks.

Go to settings and tap on search and type "delay" and tap on keyboard delay and set it on 0.2 or customiz on 0.1...it'll work😃

Hi, unfortunately this is not the issue (although I'm glad it seems to have helped for you).   I literally completely removed the Samsung keyboard from my phone using ADB the first day I set it up, and have had the issue using Gboard, Swiftkey, and random games requiring continuous taps.  The newest update has NOT solved it for me, and screen sensitivity does not help either.  The only thing that SORT of helps (I think) with keyboard typing for me is that accessibility setting of interaction and dexterity>ignore repeated touches... but now there's this annoying blue circle every time I touch the screen, and it simply prevents quick-tapping games--as it no longer registers INTENTIONAL quick touches in rapid succession.  This is my first Samsung phone in probably about 8 years, and I have to say, I'm completely disappointed.  I have owned the phone since September 2021, and unless this is fixed pronto, I'll never be able to trust Samsung with a "flagship" purchase again.

My phones just new and this is having the keyboard issue I can't type fast as it won't respond to fast touches the only keyboard lags the apps or touch is completely fine and my screen sensitivity is turned on since the day I brought which was 15 of this month s20 fe 5g
