After the recent update the Internet app has become really slow. Pages just freeze loading and when you click home button takes an age to go there. Anyone else?

@stickyboy @muttley: Are you encountering this issue on all websites, or just certain ones? If you use a different browser e.g. Chrome, does the issue persist? Can you make sure you're on the most recent version by heading to the Samsung Internet app > Tap the 3 lines in the bottom right > Settings > About Samsung Internet, and look for an update prompt here?

The same issues with me. All websites are slow to load or freeze altogether. I have cleared cache and data. I've even uninstall and installed the latest version.
Google chrome browser has no issues with the same websites.

Temporary solution ? Found this on another thread. It works!

Go on Internet settings, 'browsing privacy dashboard' and set smart anti tracking to 'never'
