Is it possible to have a separate notification just for Gmail? ( i use the Gmail app)

Hi all I'm pretty sure I have had this on a separate notification before but now its making the same sound for all notifications, text and emails, i have looked everywhere but i can't work it out, so any help is appreciated

Hi @T21972 

You can change the notification sound for any app as follows:

Go to Settings > Notifications > See all > Gmail > Email > Sound > Select.

The question I want answered is adding a CUSTOM notification sound. I know I can use the sounds on their list, I just don't want to use any of them.

How do I add a new ringtone that can be used on Gmail or for text messages?
