One UI 5.1 disastrous update..

I regret updating to 5.1 on my Note 20 ultra 5G, completely ruined my device. Had some minor issues after the 5.0 update but I was not prepared for something like that! Data reception completely broken, refused to connect on 4G/5G, for Wifi need to be in the same room with the rooter otherwise the signal drops every now and then, same with wireless reception where I used to have 3-5 bars now it's 1-2, if I'm lucky.

Battery goes faster, charging is slower. The device is over 2 years old,  I understand how things work however this is unacceptable. I was hoping to keep the device until the end of the year, now I'm forced to get a new one. My phone is an important tool for my work , I need to have 100% trust , but now I have lost most of it.

Hi @PaulM1 , I Wiped the cache partition as instructed and am still having the same issues.

Thanks for going through these steps, @JakeWolf19. At this stage, I think it would be wise to submit an Error report, as this will allow our developers to take a closer look at this for you:

Been a life long Samsung customer since the S3 .....I currently have the ultra 20 note...My 5.1 update was conducted 12/13/23...This morning is the second time I've lost connectivity since July, same problem phone was swapped out and it resolved the issue...This phone is getting swapped out should have replacement soon...Seriously contemplating getting the Pixel 8 pro at this point...I will never go apple, but can no longer rely on Samsung for headache communication....Hoping Brin and the boys take care of me at Google and I can turn in this paperweight for a fully functional smartphone.....Samsung knowingly does this so you have to constantly fall victim to consumerism...Most likely going to file a complaint with the BBB and my attorney General to hopefully shed light on this predatory practice...No reason you should need a 1.5k phone every 3 years...My refrigerator surely doesn't need to be replaced that often, and my other high ticket items seem to last...Send me new tech for free if your phasing out my tech....You got deep enough pockets Samsung... A 20 year customer!

I understand what you mean. If you tried every step and they didn't work. Then, you may be entitled to compensation. Have you tried making an error report regarding this issue 🤔. Since you have been experiencing it for a while. It would be best to submit an error report to let Samsung Developers have a closer look at this issue. Then, they would get back to you on the next steps.
