When crossing borders the phone does not automatically find a network

I cross BE-NL border every day, and every day I have to find a network manually. I have galaxy A53. The button Search Networks Automatically, is always switched on, it simply does not do its job. I also then loose my internet and have to access to the phone, until I stop the car, and find a  network manually. 

Should switcing networks be so difficult?

What should I do?
