Samsung A05s not recognized by PC

Greetings everyone,

I used my A05s phone to transfer data to  laptop, but recently after installing the new update, the phone only charges when connected to my laptop but doesn't show up as a removable storage. The message "USB device Not Recognized" pops up on my laptop. I'm using Windows 7.

I used to automatically get the option to choose the USB mode on my phone when connected to a PC, but now, it only shows that it's charging.

These are the troubleshooting steps I tried :

- Connecting the phone in different USB ports.

-Restarting both the phone and the PC.

-Activating USB debugging and choosing Data Transfer as the default configuration on the phone.

-Trying to reinstall the phone drivers through Device Manager in the laptop.

-Changing the USB charging/Data cable many times.

-Trying the same procedure on another laptop.

-Emptied the cache of the USB system app.

-Reseting Network settings in the phone.

-Force close Samsung Switch.

At this point, is it possible that it could be a hardware issue on the phone's end? I'm tempted to change the USB C port on the phone.

Honestly, I'm at my wits end for now. Any help possible would be appreciated.

Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you. I listed that in the troubleshooting steps I have taken, but I do think there's no harm in repeating those steps again using another set of cables and computers to make sure one last time.
