Samsung A55 does not recognize my correct PIN after a few minutes of being on

Hi, i got a new A55 phone. TRasnfer all data, and realize that fter a while do not recognize my patern or pin (i tried both)
Finger and facer recognicion works, so i can access the phoen,. If i restart the phone the patern or pin works.
But if i lock the pohone for5 minutes, stop working. 

this is a software issue or hardware isssue? I need to wait for Androdi 15 or what?

This sounds software from what you've described.

I would suggest deleting the pin and pattern.

Reboot your device.

Create new pin and pattern (can be same as before).

Hi, thanks for the answer.  i did that. also i wipe the cache just in case. then i set a new patern, and happened the same. 😞

OK so if that isn't working you'll need to speak to Samsung Customer Service

Or do a factory data reset

Hi @Martu2k 👋

As mentioned by @Piper123, it sounds like your phone is having a software issue, and so isn't fully recognising your fingerprint. Your best option at this stage is to send us an Error report.   

By sending us an Error report, our software engineers will be able to receive data logs relating to the problem you are experiencing. This data is anonymised and only held for the duration of the investigation of the report.
