Hello,
Bought a new Galaxy A05s from Samsung. After 1 day, updated software to latest Android system, however since then I have been getting the 'Check your charger connection' notification every time I plug a charger in - already tried multiple different cables, and phone not being recognised by my laptop.
Is this a known issue & is there a fix for this? It is a brand new phone and this shouldn't be happening!
Thanks in advance

If its brand new, consider returning it for a replacement. Should not expect any issues with charging port on a new device.

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

Are you using a genuine a genuine Samsung Charger and the cable that came with your device?

Some 3rd party chargers and cables don't have sufficient power / connectivity especially cheaper versions from the Far East.

Yes, I have tried using a genuine Samsung Charger cable that came in the box - that one seems to connect the least frequently post update.

No, but I've also tried with USB only and various other cable connections - none are fixing the issue.

Can you try with a genuine Samsung Charger as this may be your issue

Tried with one and no change. I fail to see why other chargers, or just a USB cable charger, wouldn't work anyway in all honesty.

Not all phones come with charger now most USB cables are OK to power a phone even cheaper ones so don't get why you need a genuine USB cable and charger
