@bagpussann: Pop-ups such as this usually stem from third party applications, therefore I recommend uninstalling any apps that you have added to your phone since you first encountered the issue. You can also try heading to Settings > Apps > Chrome > Force stop > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device.
