Hi

I know this is a basic question. My phone has not rung for the last 5 days. If a call comes through it goes straight to voicemail. I have also missed out on texts for the last 4 days. Any help will be gratefully received. It' a Galaxy A12

I would recommend you reset your network settings (not a factory data reset).

Go to settings and search for reset network settings. Action this.

You'll need to re-enter things like WiFi passwords but hopefully this will help you solve your issue.

@mazamoomoo: Are you still able to make calls, and send text messages? Is the issue persistent in all locations (as you may currently be in a low signal area)? If you head to the Phone app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Supplementary services > Call forwarding, are any forwarding options enabled? Similarly, tap the Back button > Call barring, and check your current barring options, especially those in the incoming calls category.

Thank you all for advice. I have noticed that although I am connected there is a padlock icon showing. Is there any way I can get rid of the icon? Sorry about this, I am not technically minded.

Hi
Try Below

How do I get the lock symbol off my phone?

How to remove screen lock on your Android phone

Tap Settings > Security > Device lock > ScreenLock.

If prompted, enter your current lock screen code > None > Delete

@mazamoomoo: Please can you describe where you're seeing the padlock icon? Alternatively, take a screenshot and attach it to your next reply, so I'm able to take a closer look.
