VoLTE on A12

I've been trying to enable VoLTE on my A12 after being told that I need to by Tesco Mobile, before they turn off 2G/3G calling. However, there is no option to select VoLTE in the mobile network settings on my phone, just LTE 2G/3G. Software is up to date. Have had several conversations with Tesco Mobile and tried various things, including new sim, they tell me the A12 is compatible with VoLTE, but can't seem to help me with why there is no option to select VoLTE in my settings. They have advised that I contact Samsung. Has anyone had and been able to resolve this issue?

If you have no 4G or LTE option your phone is toast

First check the it's support, if not get a new phone

If yes and can't see it get it to a service center, there maybe a cost to repair. See what is cheaper and repair or new phone

Thanks. LTE/2G/3G is showing and has always been selected and phone gets 4G data, but VoLTE 4G option not showing, despite network provider saying the phone is compatible

Not every supplier names it LTE, wierd oddity, three and EE do I belive and everyone else just calls it's 4G

As @Piper123 said 2G anint going anywhere as 2G is voice, 4G is voice and data

When you make a call does your phone stay on 4G or does it drop down to 3G/2G?

It changes to 'H' which I believe is 3G

I have the same issue. TescoMobile sent me a new sim card but it made no difference. I don't believe A12s are compatible with 4G.

Tesco have assured me that the LTE option will mean the phone will work after the switch to 4G calling, time will tell I guess

The switchover happened last week.
