VoLTE on A12

I've been trying to enable VoLTE on my A12 after being told that I need to by Tesco Mobile, before they turn off 2G/3G calling. However, there is no option to select VoLTE in the mobile network settings on my phone, just LTE 2G/3G. Software is up to date. Have had several conversations with Tesco Mobile and tried various things, including new sim, they tell me the A12 is compatible with VoLTE, but can't seem to help me with why there is no option to select VoLTE in my settings. They have advised that I contact Samsung. Has anyone had and been able to resolve this issue?

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > VoLTE calls SIM 1. Turn on. Or you should be able to search for it in Settings via the search bar

Thanks, but as in my post, there is no option to select VoLTE in mobile networks

Not all devices can show VoLTE in settings, my S22ultra doesn't it's down to your network provider

Thanks for your comments. Network provider, tesco, advised me to contact Samsung

LTE is effectively volte. Just means you can make calls using 4g.

As for 2g, that isn't going anywhere for the next 7 or 8 years so you're unlikely to still have that device by then anyway.

3g is being turned off.

Do you have an option in mobile networ settings to select 4G/3G/2G (auto) or LTE ? If so select one with 4G and above.

Try reseting network settings by going to :
Settings > general management > reset > reset mobile network settings

Have Tesco mobile turned it on on your account?

I do not have this option to turn off or on Volte on my phone as it's turned on by network.

Hi thanks, no option to select 4G, have reset mobile network settings, I don't know if tesco have turned it on in my account, they seem to think it's samsung nor them
