What the hell is going on with those OS updates ??????
I bought my mum a samsung phone and im installing updates for a second day already. Are you for real??? Who in samsung thought this will be a good idea? I understand that OS needs updates but guys this is ridiculous!

Depending on the device and it's original release date, there may be multiple OS and Security Updates.
For example, if the device was released to the market in January 2023, there would likely be one OS and potentially up to a dozen security updates (as the latter is released monthly).
So this is perfectly normal and I believe is similar across both the Android and Apple worlds.
Appreciate you only bought the device recently, but it is the manufacturer release date that is most relevant here. I presume you would prefer the device to be as secure as possible?

I totally understand and appreciate your viewpoint on this.
There has been some recent big updates that has just been released which your phone needs.
Also the apps will need updating from when they were first installed on the phone.
Putting this into perspective it does not take too long to let the phone to update.
