I used this a lot on my old phone to scan pages of text for reference but my new A15 doesn't seem to have this feature. I tried the Adobe scan app but it's useless, the text is heavily pixilated. What options are there with Samsung tools or otherwise?

Here is some possible help @bill-b

To scan a document with a Samsung Galaxy phone, you can use the camera app to tap to scan:

  1. Open the camera app
  2. Position the document in the center of the view
  3. Tap Scan
  4. Tap the thumbnail image to review the scan
  5. Tap the Edit icon to edit the scan
  6. Tap Save
  7. Tap the Share icon to send the document
You can also use the auto scan feature to automatically capture documents and text without pressing the shutter button. To enable auto scan:

  1. Open the camera app
  2. Tap the gear on the top
  3. Tap Scan documents and text
  4. Turn on Auto scan

Scan and edit documents on your Galaxy phone or tablet.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I too have an A15 and it doesn't support the document scanning feature on the camera app. You can find a scanner app from the Google play store .
