Compass issue on the samsung A15 phone

I've had a persistent issue with the compass function in my phone and no amount of re-calibration has helped. The compass needle will continuously fluctuate between positions even when lying still on a flat surface. The issue persists between apps and is particularly problematic when i use an app called Stellarium, which is a live star map, and the whole screen vibrates to try and follow the compass direction. It's a little nauseating to look at. (In cover, out of cover, indoors, outdoors, nothing stops the shaking)

I just got it back from the repair shop, where they changed the circuit board and back piece, but that hasn't helped either, and no issue pops up when I do a scan of the sensors within the phone's settings.

Could this be an issue with the electromagnetic field sensor itself? or might it be some kind of stabilising issue? Where the sensor itself is working, but not the thing limiting the deviations it shows?

Hi! Welcome to the samsung members community!!

Go to your phone and dial *#0*#; then, click Sensors > Magnetic sensors > Self test. If that fails, calibrate it by moving the phone in a figure-eight pattern. If it still fails, you will need to get it repaired.

Go to Settings > Security and privacy, and turn off Auto Blocker; otherwise, the menu will not appear.
