So I was thinking of switching to a iPhone 13 because my Samsung a04s which was 200 pounds new is really slow and the camera is bad. Any recomadations.

Stick to your phone cus it is easier to look after and I phones are SO easier to break trust me I know from 5 phones

A04S is the basic first level, lowest price, device Samsung manufacture.

So yes, over time it will, like all devices, degrade.

Have you performed a Wipe Partition Cache on your device since you've bought it?

Even though A04s can be great deal for the price and specs, you need to keep in mind its budget device.

If i would be switching to other devices id be looking at A36 5G, A56 5G. Unless you're budget can stretch more then I would recommend to get the S series, but nonetheless the A56 is really good choice I've tried this phone and I was actually surprised by the capabilities of it.

@donuxx22 some other advice, ensure all apps are up to date  and optimise in Device care . Memory nay be low ,can go to Device care-Memory-clean now.

However as others have mentioned it is a Budget Device, I think the  Samsung Medium Range devices are worth considering and I think the A56 would be better than  the iphone 13.  A number  of us reviewed it and impressive for the price range, one example from @lminvti  here https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-a-series/a56-sample-review-what-i-love-about-it/td-p/1300...

Thanks for the advice I heard that the s22 was good aswell
