Recently got a Galaxy A15, but when I switch between apps e.g if I switch between Microsoft Edge and then check an email, then switch back to Edge, it's like the app resets while switching. I lose progress when filling out forms etc. Never happened on any phone I've ever had.
Any ideas?

Hi there 👋 and welcome.

Try to check if these apps are not in deep sleep you can check it by going to settings > battery > background usage limits and see deep sleeping aps or you can toggle off put unused apps to sleep if it on.

Also you can go settings >connections > data usage > mobile data usage tap on app/apps and make sure both of circled options is toggled on and see if any of that helps 1731840723092.jpg

@Chrismith: Some websites/browsers will timeout if you open another app, then navigate back to the site via the Recents button in your Navigation bar. I have noticed this while filling out certain online forms and accessing banking apps. If you are going through a verification process, and need to check your Messages or Emails, I recommend using the drop down Notification panel where any codes will be visible. You can also try tapping the Recents button > Press and hold on the app icon above the preview window > Drop here to open, and open the app in split screen view. Select an app for the bottom half of the screen, and this might help to workaround the issue you're having.

I've tried suggested solutions but the problem persists. I Googled the issue and it's a common problem with this phone as there isn't enough ram. Never had a phone which "times out" apps after a few seconds before, therefore will have to return it.

Thanks for your help.
