Still Unresponsive

So I tried to go to shops to get this bug fixed, I was quoted £30 for the previous update, but I was warned that the previous update might not work.

I've rebooted 5 times in 2 days (almost 3) and it's still happening. 

Shops won't do Cache Partition but will charge me £30 for previous update which is pointless as it'll happen again.

When it locks I've noticed it won't let me answer calls, very frustrating. 

Samsung still hasn't replied to me, not that that's any surprise. 

So now I've got to stick with this until I get a new phone.

One disgruntled Samsung user.

Hi there. Sorry to hear this. Perhaps it would be better to get your phone serviced by samsung service centre. Using third parties would make the issue worse. Can I ask if you recently bought the phone or what?

Phone works perfectly ok, with the IU 7 or UI7 whatever it was, on lock screen the swipe is unresponsive.

When I took the diagnostics test on this app when I had to press all the small little squares (I done it in one swoop/swipe) and all lit up blue.

This all happened after I had updated.

Phone works perfectly fine apart from that.

After update I couldn't use the swipe to open phone to put in my 4 number code security. Have to keep es-starting phone to open it! Reported to Samsung, rang Customer Service etc. Did diagnostic check, no problems found!! Well sorry there is a problem and it's not just my phone it seems...

Their update has ruined phones, yes apps and all still work, but when you're having difficulties swiping to get off screen lock and it's not registering it's frustrating.

Part of me wants to pay £30 to go back to previous update, but then I fear I'll have to go through this all over again

Just not bothering with updates in the future! When this contract runs out will change to another maker, not having this again. I like Samsung, but not after this!

I'm feeling exact same way although I'm looking elsewhere

My last Motorola I hated as when it booted up it took ages for my messages etc to filter through

But after this I'm reluctant to buy another Samsung and I've got another Samsung bought a few months ago for journalism and touring etc I'm scared that an update for that renders the phone and makes it almost impossible to use

Same I have a13 it's just getting worse and worse I'm having bugs and glitches near daily
