Smart Switch Installed Apps, but no Icons

I used Smart Switch to copy apps from a Nokia to a new Galaxy A15.  The apps transferred and work fine, but there are no icons for them in either the Home screen or Apps screen.  They are not marked as "Hidden".  Samsung support advised re-install of the apps which seems a backward step.  I would have been better off doing a manual setup in the first place if I have to reinstall them all.

Is there any other way to get the missing icons ?

I think you might need to do a factory reset and try again then

Not sure if you have this particular setting on your phone (see 1st screenshot). But if so, then I suspect the reinstall sorted it as suggested. The initial uninstall would have removed it from the list as per 2nd screenshot, thus allowing it to show in the app drawer upon the subsequent install.

Good advice GoanGeek, but for me I keep my usage of cloud services to a minimum.  Everything stored locally, and backed up.  Too many news stories out there about the amount of power needed to run data centres.  If it is under my control I can switch it off when I am not needing it
