Samsung A34 Open Ui 6.1 update error

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm stuck with an issue with my phone. I've spoken both with my phone provider and Samsung and the issue isn't resolved.

Not a big issue, just that I keep getting a pop-up for Open UI 6.1 to be installed, however, I have tried many times and it keeps getting stuck at 25%. I've tried numerous things, including the Smart Switch option, but I can't find where to download it on my windows pc (I have an older Thinkpad).

Advice on how to install appreciated, or how to set a time for reminders so it doesn't pop up too often.

If you are truing to use Wi-Fi to download the update then switch to Mobile Data or visa versa @Irene241 and try again. 

Ensure you have enough storage space to be able to complete the update too. 

A last resort could be to back up and factory reset to see if that helps.

Hi. Thanks for the quick response. I have tried the mobile data with no luck. I am now trying Smart Switch, fingers crossed it works.

Hi yes. The Smart Switch app helped. The download is very slow, but it did the job. Have you got the same issue?

No I don't have the same issue. I just wanted to ask you about your experience with Samsung devices. Are they reliable, as I have read a few reports on here that some users have boot loop issues

Sure. I have an A34 and it has been tricky at times. Battery drained due to Chrome use, but great using the apps alone. Lasts up to two days.

The camera isn't great, but ok for basic photos.

Otherwise the interface is easy to use and you do get more choices with themes and ringtone than Apple.

This is my first one. I previously had iPhone. However, mum has had a Samsung for 4 years with no issues.

Broo to be honest naa this worse experience ever from Samsung bcz this my first device from sumsung that I'm using a34 and I have iPhone 8 also but it's not even thinking of lagging means when it was launched my dad and mom gifted me iPhone 8 plus and I have kept it till now cuz it special for me soo it never,ever had lagged or some software issue came in that phone before soo I'm very disappointed by this and now I was planning to buy s24 plus but now instead of it I'm thinking of iPhone 16 pro when it will launch now i understood why apple device are soo costly but they are worth that money broo
