Is there an alternative way to take a screenshot other than volume down and power? I find this difficult and often end up just turning the volume down, or taking a screenshot with the volume indicator in pic.

I'm not sure with the A series. Think you are limited to the volume down and side key. You do have the option for assistant menu. You will find this in settings > Accessibility > integration and dexterity Unfortunately it does stay on the screen. Images to show you the icon that stays on your screen and when it's opened. 1722017468907.jpg1722017468951.jpg

I prefer the method @Fiona26 mentions, but sometimes, I also use the quick panel tool for smart select.1722018519675_1722018519667_0.jpg

Hi,

If you have it, then swipe down twice from top of the screen into your Quick panel and hit the screenshot button. To make the button more accessible and less obstructing you can add it to the shortened panel (just single swipe) via the panel edit option.

You could even ask Bixby or Google Assistant to take one1722018549863_1722018549857_0.jpg

On the A25 5G there's an icon to take a screenshot in the quick panel. This is presumably available on other devices.

Thanks guys. Didn't know about palm swipe, seems best option. Others probably include icons in the shot, but will try.

The quick panel button method does not take a shot of the panel buttons. They all disappear when the button is pressed.

Unfortunately I don't seem to have Take Screenshot quick panel option, only screen recorder
