Samsung Messaging App glitch.

Ever since updating to the latest version on my Galaxy A70, I've experienced a glitch when using the keyboard on certain apps, such as Whatsapp, Tumblr or Facebook Messaging. When typing, I would experiance a glitcH. The keyboard would disappear and then reappear. I then clicked on the left hand button which brings up any apps in use in the background, and the Samsung Messaging app would be running. But look incomplete. So, when I click on it, it doesnt get me into the app, and just throws me out. I then go onto my own personal home page, click the messaging app and I can get into it.

I have restarted my phone. Begun it on safe mode and force stopped the messaging app. I was advised to do a complete reset, but I am afraid of loosing a lot of stuff.

For some reason, the messaging app and the keyboard is connected, causing the glitches to my mobile. And this is with the update version: A705FNXXU5DUI1/A705FNOXM5DUI1/A705FNXXU5DUI1245319171_394938238794627_2002796164494221674_n.jpg

Sadly not. Its just the same of a hard reset, but I'm not going through that.

But I've been experiencing a second glitch during charging now. My phone froze during charging and got stuck at 69% or that it wasn't charging during the night (wire may have become loose)

I just did the clear cache and clear data on the message app and it hasn't gliched again yet. Give it a try. Maybe it works for you as well. Also, I saw that after software update if you have multiple glitches like you say with the charging or even battery drainage, it is recomanded to clar the cache partition. You can do that if you go on the boot menu (black android screen where you can do the hard reset) and choose "clear cache partition". Supposed this won't delete anything from your personal data. Haven't tried it as the first method worked for me ( clear cache and data in the messaging app)

I've just done the clear cache and clear data on the message app, I'll have to see how I go.

I was recommended to do the hard reset on my phone, but it means I loose everything. And having to transfer everything over etc, I just can't be bothered with the hassle. What I might do, I have until October 2022 with my phone. Once I get to a reasonable bill, like £30, I'm going to pay it off right and get a new phone.

For me it worked. The "clear cache partition" option they say its just deleteing all the cache from your phone and your personal stuff is not touched ( unlike the hard reset). Can't say if it's true as I have never tried it, but deleting the cache from the message app didn't delete any of my messages so I guess it works also for the whole phone. This cache things are "leftovers" from all the apps and all updates an so on stuck in " a void" on the phone and too many of them are causing those glitches. Anyway, hope it works for you. Since I've done it not a single glitch happend. Before I couldn't write such a long text because of the glitch( the glitch was eraseing all I had wrote so I had to start over again). Good luck.

So as stated I cleared my data etc for the messaging app. Sadly. That didn't help.

Hi. I've had the same annoying problem for months now, with a glitch from the message app. Solved it by not allowing the message app to be on top of other apps in the settings, and then installed another message app and the Gboard keyboard. Before that, I tried everything Samsung hot line said to me. Reset system cache, and I did reset my whole phone, without a result. It start glitching again a few days later. I'm certain that there's some work to do for the Samsung developers, because it's out all over the internet from Samsung users with this incredible annoying glitch on their phones! Now my S20 FE has been up running with no problems for about a month now without problems with new message app and keyboard. Good luck to all of you and merry christmas 🎄

Hey guys! I've been meaning to update, and I just keep forgetting. Sorry! Anyway, I don't appear to have the glitch anymore! My phone usually does a reset every Sunday, which helps it's performance and battery drainage. So, I decided to just turn off my phone/restart my phone (Can't remember which), and weirdly enough, I have not had any issues since. No glitches or anything, thank God.
