Samsung Galaxy A71 - Phone app does no generate DTMF codes during calls

Phone App does not generate recognizable DTMF codes during calls, rendering the phone useless to interact with URA services, such as credit cards, phone operators, etc.

Already tried. The Phone App generates the DTMF tones when dialing, but not during the call, rendering any interaction with IVR systems useless! This is clearly a software bug occurring in several models that Samsung should address. At least in previous versions we had the "SHORT/LONG" DTMF tones option to address the problem.

I have the option to see normal and long DTMF tones. You are correct, the tones work to MAKE the call, but once in the call, nope! Maddening trying to navigate call centers. Samsung needs to address this. I've not been impressed at all with this phone. Maybe time to go back to Motorola

Hi - I am wondering if anyone managed to resolve this issue.  I have not had any issue with DTMF tones with my S21 while I was on Voxi and subsequently Lebara, which are all Vodafone networks - however i recently ported to Lyca (uses the O2 network) and the DTMF tones do not work on this network from my S21.  I have dual sims enabled- the second sim is on Lebara (Vodafone) and the DTMF tones work fine with no issues - so i don't think it is a Samsung issue but rather a network issue, did those who had this issue manage to resolve it?

Samsung NEVER addressed this issue with the importance it deserves.

The only way I found to fix this issue was to move to Motorola. Never had any issues with the new phone on the very same network operator where Samsung DTMF did not work.
