Will the Samsung A50 and A70 get android 12?

Unfortunately not as they've both had 2 major OS updates (being Android 10 and 11) they should still receive security patches though

Ok Thank you. Are the security patches only for around a year then they won't get any more updates?

As far as I know it's meant to be 2 major updates and then 1 year security updates but from what I've read the Note 8 got an update this week and it came our in 2017

My a3 2017 is running oneui 3.0 and thats almost 2 years older than the a50/a70

Must be a custom ROM according to Sammobile the last update the A3 (2017) received was Android 8

Come on samsung, there should be 3 major Updates for every phone😑
