Just switched to Galaxy A16 from A7. Also connected Galaxy Fit e. Steps on phone now don't match those on band. Anyone know why?

Hi @PJW27, and welcome to the Samsung UK & Ireland Community board. 👋

As well as the steps provided by @johnz237, it'd also be worth checking that your smartwatch has Location turned on. To check this, please go to Settings > Connections > Location and ensure this is enabled.

Thanks for replies. Will try these. Watch is always on my wrist, phone rarely in a pocket and watch shows fewer steps than phone! Didn't have this problem with the old A7!

Tried this but hasn't helped. Looking at other posts it seems to be an ongoing issue so I am just living with it.
