Samsung A14 5G touchscreen doesn't work anymore after update to One UI 7.0

after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore. 

How to fix this?

Okay, I'm one of the original responders to this thread.  When I upgrade to UI 7/android 15, the touch portion of the screen does not work at all, so how can I run the Samsung App and send back data logs if I the touchscreen does not respond?  I can only install the Samsung Members App when I downgrade the phone back to UI 6.1/android 14.  And at that point, there are no logs of the upgrade to UI 7/android 15.  So what will I submit on the Samsung Members App?

Another thing is all these new posters still have some functionality of their touch screens at some point while we original posters did not have any when we upgraded.  After the upgrade, no matter what I tried (and I tried everything), the only thing that worked for me was to downgrade the UI/android version.

Initially I had the same. The touchscreen was completely dead, so no 'normal' reboot. But I was lucky in as much by pressing the side keys in various combinations and for various lengths of time, I did get the touchscreen to come back without a reboot. The volume down-power combination didn't initially appear to work for me - but I think that was me - as I didn't realise you had to keep the two pressed for 7 seconds. Rebooting didn't solve the problem (ie it came back after a while) - but it gave windows of opportunity to do/try stuff (I shut down various apps I had running, downloaded the Samsung Members app and filed a report etc).

I went on Twitter and they came back to me suggesting a couple of things, but stressing the 'upgrade' had benefits. Well.it does if you want to up your blood pressure! Worked for 12 hrs ok, now not swiping to open again. I've spoken to customer services, no help, sent an error report. My last action may be to throw it somewhere.. 🤔

I'm experiencing the same problems. Are Samsung aware?

Yeah, I tried every side key combination and couldn't regain touch function of the screen.  I had no problems rebooting or going into download mode, but other than downgrading, no screen touch function at all.

Yes, I have exactly the same issue, bloody frustrating. I can't get to the recovery screen either

I actually did get a new phone now since security updates would be nice, but I really loved my A14 5G.  Until the update, it was rock solid.

You mean aware and care?  Probably not.  They've probably made a cost evaluation and decided that it would be more beneficial if they can convince you to upgrade to another phone than fix the software update on the old phone or admit to a bug.

I can't use the swipe to open after I use it 3/4 times. I then have to use vol upbutton and shut down button and re-start to get it going again. This upgrade certainly wasn't. I've now gone to Samsung twitter to moan about it!
