after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore.
How to fix this?

@ChrisB_ ok - but what is the 'official' way of fixing issues like this? Using a forum is a bit hit and miss - especially when this type of 'bug' means the phones are dead for all intents and purposes.

Same issue here, cleaning cache did not solve the issue.
In my case problem occurs after looking phone few( sometimes 2-3) times after hard reboot.
Puting phone to sleep and waking up multiple times also(sometimes) solves problem, but there is no rule how many times it has to be done.
Sometimes also just leaving it with screen off for few minutes also solves problem for a couple screen cycles.
It is really sad that Samsung has so incompetent dev team, how it is possible for a bug that's makes your telephone completely broken got to full production.
Why there is no response and/or quick fix?
What will happen if Samsung user will be in a situation that will require calling for help and find himself with broken unresponsive phone? Will Samsung take a blame and responsibility for that and everything that will occur after that? I don't think so.
In a place of shareholders I would definitely pass out.

I have to be honest, I'm not fully sure what could be causing phones to act in this way following an update (I'm not personally involved in the software development side of things), so I wouldn't be able to hazard a guess at the definitive steps to fixing it. Sending an Error report to our engineers will enable them to look into it and issue a fix.
I understand how frustrating something like this can be, so the more reports our engineers get about it the better.

@ChrisB_so the official way is the Samsung Members app? Why isn't that then installed by default - and apologies for missing where Samsung users are told that that is the app to use to report issues.

Hi,
Not sure if you are still having this issue but I was seeing a similar issue with the same phone and it seemed a "soft reset" resolved it.
This is completed by holding the power button and the volume down button until the phone turns off and the Samsung logo comes back on.

Hi folks
Since the installation of One UI 7.0, I am having frequent probs getting the A14 to unlock.
Press side button and screen lites up but it will not allow swipe to enter PIN and does not recognise fingerprint.
Can take upto 8 attempts to unlock.
Power off/ on seems to fix the problem for a few hours, then it comes back.
Anyone else finding this, or similar??

Yes, S24 series had that big issue, but only those who use Microsoft keyboard , no issue with Samsung or Google keyboard

I don't want to speak toooo soon, but I now haven't had the issue for over a day. That makes me think the issue is linked to the apps I'm using or memory/processing on the phone itself as I haven't had another OS upgrade - but I have shut down a few apps.
