Samsung A13, people can't hear me unless I use speaker phone option. Mic seems ok in video etc

Just got a new A13 and it has a most annoying problem. It seems unable to transmit my voice to callers. I can hear them clearly but they just hear chips and burbles from me. If I switch the phone to speaker phone they can then hear me. If I use a headset they can hear me. Mic seems to work on videos etc. what can I do?

Hi,
Make sure that the Samsung Call app has the permission to access the microphone. You can check the app permissions by going to Settings > Apps > Samsung Call > Permissions. You can also try to clear the cache and data of the Samsung Call app, as it may help to resolve any glitches or errors

If your still within a relevant cooling off period then swap the phone out @mikesndbs
