So, earlier this week like several other Samsung Members Stars, I got a notification. I opened it and it was from the lovely @Lucy C telling me there was a little package on its way.

Tonight then, time to give this new mid range device my full attention.
Turned the device on, got the Google languages screen. A little frustration here ref Google as it took a few moments before English was the option. Selected......
From there on - setting up was a breeze.
SAMSUNG - YOUR SOFTWARE TEAMS HAVE DONE A MARVELLOUS JOB IN CARING SMARTSWITCH WHICH ENABLED SUCH A SMOOTH TRANSFER.
WELL DONE TO THE SAMSUNG SOFTWARE ENGINEERS.
So I chose to use Smartswitch to copy from my S25 Ultra. I chose to only copy over Apps of which I have a fair few. Smartswitch is seamless.
Copying and setting up took about an hour. There was a Security Patch update as well so in total about 6gb of WiFi data used.
Using Smartswitch, WiFi and other connections were brought over seamlessly.
During set up the device did get a little warm but the demands placed on it meant this wasn't really a surprise.
Thinking back, I used Smartswitch to copy:
S24 Ultra to S25 Ultra
S25 Ultra to Flip 6
S25 Ultra to A56
Each time the process has been seamless. Very impressed with Samsung for this part.
So, device is all set up and ready to go. Over the next few weeks there will be more updates from all those Samsung Members Stars who have Product Test devices. Some have the A56, Flip 6, Fold 6 and S10+ along with a few wearable devices too so please do look out for the reviews.
