Anyone else have problems retaining fingerprint settings, I am?
I am finding my new phone does not retain my fingerprint settings. They work OK when first set but later same day are no longer recognised. What can I do to sort this out?
Thanks

Hey, so I had this problem also, what I did was delete all fingerprints it knows & then when you add the print back, use multiple fingers while it scans it, mine has been perfect since and I have my thumbs and index and middle fingers set, if one doesn't work, the others will. My phone was a diff model but in theory it still should work. Hope this helps.

Are you using a screen protector which might be hindering this @Giraffe 🤔

Try Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
