Device care. Memory. At the bottom of this screen there is this setting.
The idea of RAM plus is that for devices with a lower amount of random access memory, then it is possible the phone can use some storage area as an active memory area.
For the top end devices that have more RAM in the hardware then this setting is less important, but for the mid range phones with less hardware RAM then this can give more memory size for the phone to use by adding a 'virtual memory space'.
If this is set ON with a value of say 4GB, then your phone RAM (perhaps 3GB hardware) will be increased to allow up to 7GB of instant access memory.
At least that is a basic explanation... there is a bit more than this.
However it is good to have this on for lower phones. But it will use a bit of your storage, which is the compromise.
Bear in mind when you change this setting the phone will need to restart when the option is changed.
