@markw13: To keep your Galaxy A15 running smoothly, please make sure to close any apps that you're not using by tapping the Recents button in your Navigation bar (3 vertical lines at the bottom of the screen), then swipe upwards on the relevant app preview window, or hit 'Close all'. Furthermore, please head to Settings > Device care > Memory > Clean now. I also recommend restarting your phone every 48-72 hours to refresh the software, and optimise your apps.

Hello 👋

I do mine thrice a week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, maybe a little excessive 🙃 but I've set my phone up to automatic restart.

I'm not 100% if this feature is available on A15 but no harm in checking and if its there, could set it up so you don't need to manually restart

Settings > Device Care > Auto Optimisation > Auto Restart

Hello @markw13

People have their own habits when it comes to phone's.

Personally I turn my phone off overnight and charge the phone.

Clearing the Phone's System Partition Cache Files Section periodically helps too.

Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
