Phone struggles to fast charge after new update.

Hello, I'm using a Samsung A55 5G and prior to updating my phone today (6 March '25), it was charging fine and dandy. After the update, my phone's struggling to utilize the super fast charging feature despite the display stating that it is in super fast charging mode. 

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

It might be your port. My A54 struggled to do it and it now does 15% in 5mins using the official Samsung super fast charging plug with a 65W usb c cable so maybe get your port checked out or if you're not using the official plug buy an official plug from Amazon for like £10 to £15

Ahh yeah, I've been using the official plugs and cable since December. But I'll have the device checked out tomorrow too.  Can't afford to not use the phone since I'm a freelancer and I definitely need the device to always be at its best.

Id say try have a look at getting the port changed. My charging has been so much better since my port changed. My battery pack always said 8hr until full but now it's normal cable speed and is efficiently charging my phone up so go to a shop in your local town. My port was £35 for a whole new port and a full clean. got a new port circuit part as well so I got a bargain there

Lol amazon are not genuine charger there fake ones. Yoy should just buy genuine chargers from samsung or retail shop like curry's PC argos etc but amazon are not genuine there copy fake

Ye dont forget you went 3rd party to get your device repaired so if anything goes wrong afterwards samsung are not liable to repair or replace so looks like your screwed if anything goes wrong. As the 3rd party shop you went to dont do genuine parts but it's made in China parts lol
