PDF reader

Bought a Galaxy A14 few weeks ago. It won't open any pdf files. My Galaxy tab A is no trouble. I've tried downloading different pdf readers on Google play also Samsungs reader but no luck. Any ideas?

I got All PDF (free with ads) from the play store. It does ok just have to put up with the ads.
Don't forget you have to make it your default reader for PDF'S.

Hi Pete. I tried the All file from Google play earlier. Nothing worked. Anyway just made a booking at a bnb, got confirmation with a pdf, opened with Galaxy notes no problem. The pdf file I've been trying to open is from my banking app so I think maybe it's just files from there that's the problem. Thanks for answering though. 🙂

in these situations best to clear cache/data of affected app to see if that resolves the issue.  Go to storage-clear cache and Data.  otherwise can try another reader.

If you have Office 365, you can also use the Office 365 app from the Google play store to open pdf's.

Badger42 I have Office 365...it won't open it.....Office is showing all my pdf and Word files and works perfectly. The problem is opening pdf files from my Halifax app but only since I bought this Samsung Galaxy A14...I had a Honor 9 lite before and had no trouble. If I go to Halifax on Samsung galaxy tablet no trouble either . A mystery to me . Thanks anyway

James4578. Cleared cache and tried other readers...have opened pdf files OK just a problem with my Halifax mobile app...

UPDATE....It seems the problem is with the Halifax mobile app and not the phone...I have the app on my phone but I decided to ignore the app and go online using my phone and there wS absolutely no problem so in future when I have a email message from Halifax I'll just have to go online.

My Samsung S24 asks for qr code when trying to download any attachments... why is this as I can't open them without. Can I disable this?
