Used smart switch to transfer all content to new phone A35 On new phone cannot open one notes or what's app? Have tried to follow Google hints and tips but not successful. I am not very technically able when things go wrong

Sorry to hear of your issues.
When moving apps via SmartSwitch, on occasion the app coming across will not be the correct version for the new device. I would start by uninstalling both then instead of clicking install, go to Google Play Store and install the apps from there.
