@Endie: Please head to Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Now bar > Live notifications > View more, then toggle on any apps or features from here.
Allow notifications, Lock screen notifications and Show content on Lock screen must be turned on in the app notification settings. With this in mind, please head to Settings > Notifications > App notifications > Make sure the relevant apps are toggled on > Back > Lock screen notifications > On > Show content > Tap the cog to the right > Toggle on the relevant apps from here.
Also Google activity needs to be on as well for sports press where is says sport from Google and click the high text the nowbar should only appear when the relevant selection is live or active 
@Endie: Please note that the Now bar will only be visible when a supported app is open, and there is a notification from that app. With this in mind, to test the functionality, please open the Voice recorder app > Start a recording > Pause it > Press the Side button to Lock the screen, then press it again to view the Lock screen. Can you see a Voice recorder notification in the Now bar at the bottom of the screen, and can you interact with the notification?
